What is Potatobat?

A better question is what isn’t Potatobat? In all seriousness, it’s a consulting company ran by one guy who’s really into firearms in a state that isn’t too friendly to gun owners. Now many people somehow are still really into firearms but don’t know what they’re doing. What’s worse is some people get so discouraged by their environment, that they don’t train, or ask for help! That’s what Potatobat Consulting wants to fix!

What do we offer?

It’s very simple. We offer judgment free assistance with firearms in the LA area. Got a new handgun, and not sure what you’re doing? Have you ever gone to the range, dumped 200 rounds into a berm, and after the satisfaction of shooting you had that hollow feeling where you didn’t learn anything? Do you have questions about your gun and are maybe too embarrassed to ask your friend or someone else at a shooting range? Ever had that nagging “What now?” feeling? That’s what we’re here to fix! With over 10 years of shooting experience, and even more experience braving the wilds of internet gun forums, we’re more than happy to be a provide help and a smile to those who may be nervous around their latest purchase.

Well, 3 short people in a trenchcoat! Okay but in all reality, this is a one man show. You’re getting help from a competition shooter who wants anyone who’s armed, to be at the very least proficient with weapons they’ve possibly paid too much for. If you want to know more, read on!

Who’s the shooter behind Potatobat?

Hi there! I’m Hayk! I’m an avid shooter, outdoors person, and overall nice guy! You’ve already read all the stuff I wrote up until now! I’m a first generation American who got into the shooting sports when I was young. I’m mostly self taught, and have probably been in your shoes at some point! From shooting into trash, to shredding carboard targets, I started with not much and managed to soak up knowledge like a sponge. So what are you waiting for? Reach out!
